All Change at Sea

By guest blogger Steve Newman

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has launched an exciting new initiative to benefit its customers wishing to purchase foreign currency for their cruises. Operated in partnership with foreign currency specialists, City Forex, the new service allows guests to pre-book currency. The exchange rate is very competitive, and is fixed at the time of ordering.

Mike Bird, Marketing Manager for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: “We are very pleased to be offering this service to our guests, and we believe we are the first cruise line to do so. It will save time and worry, making the whole business of changing money very straightforward and competitively priced. This will be especially useful for those on longer cruises, visiting a number of different ports, and requiring several different currencies.”

The new service promises no Commission, no postal worries (or carrying large amounts of cash on the high street), no hidden costs and a buy-back guarantee at the same rate as the currency was purchased.

Fred Olsen guests who choose to use this service simply order their currency in advance, using their cruise reference code, and collect their money from Reception on board the ship. Any unused currency can be returned to Reception at the end of the cruise, and will be exchanged at the same rate at which it was originally purchased.

To access the service, guests who have booked a cruise can go online at http://www.cityforex.co.uk/.
