CroisiEurope Welcome New River Cruiser

This May, the MS Cyrano de Bergerac will join the CroisiEurope fleet and be transferred from Strasbourg to Bordeaux, where it will join MS Princesse d’Aquitaine. It will have its inaugural voyage on May 17 at the Quai des Chartrons in the presence of a, invited audience.

Straight out of the Meuse & Sambre shipyard at Namur where its motorised hull was conceived, Cyrano de Bergerac was designed and built by the CroisiEurope team under the direction of the company engineer. The vessel has been completely equipped, furnished and decorated at the River Station in Strasbourg, home of the company’s headquarters.

The ship can accommodate 180 passengers in cabins located on three decks. It is 110m long by 11.4m wide. The attractive Restaurant is large enough to serve all passengers in a single sitting while the galley kitchens are furnished with top-of-the-range high precision equipment in order to provide meals of the highest quality. A spacious Lounge Bar with a dance floor in the centre offers passengers an ideal area to relax and socialise. There is also a Pianorama Bar, which is smaller and cosier as well as a large sun deck of more than 1,000sq m, where passengers can relax and enjoy the sun and fresh air to the full. The elegant and warm décor is entirely in keeping with the ambience on board.

The boat is equipped with all the latest technology and offers its passengers both comfort and security. Each cabin is equipped with en suite shower and WC, a flatscreen television, hairdryer, safe, radio and individually controlled air-conditioning and heating. There is also a highly qualified and experienced crew of 30.

This new jewel in the CroisiEurope crown will join the Gironde Estuary and the Garonne and Dordogne rivers to offer cruises lasting from five to eight nights. Between March and November, Cyrano de Bergerac will offer four main itineraries:
