Avalon Waterways’ Latest Suite Ship is launched on the Danube

Avalon Waterways has launched its newest ‘Panorama Suite Ship’, Avalon Illumination. 

With the same state-of-the art design as its sister ships, Avalon Illumination is the third addition to the Avalon fleet this year offering two full decks of suites, each with wall-to-wall panoramic windows which open up to create open-air balconies, designed with comfort in mind,

The 83 stateroom Illumination is the eighth vessel introduced by Avalon since its successful Suite Ship concept made its debut three years ago with the launch of the original Avalon Panorama.

The Suite Ships form part of the most modern river cruise fleet in Europe and offer 30 per cent more cabin space than the average industry standard. Each are sized at a magnificently spacious 200 square feet and the careful placement of the bed means that travellers are free to wake up and retire to bed each day experiencing new and memorable river views.
