Fred. Olsen's Black Watch starts new cruise season from Rosyth


Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ 804-guest ship Black Watch is to start her new cruise season from Rosyth, serving Edinburgh, with a ten-night sailing to the Norwegian fjords tomorrow (July 31).

In all, Fred. Olsen has four sailings from Rosyth in its 2014/15 cruise season, to a variety of worldwide itineraries, including a 13-night Baltic voyage to Scandinavia and St. Petersburg' in August, and an 11-night 'France, Spain and Guernsey' cruise in September.

Black Watch's 2014 cruise season from Rosyth will sit in between the ship's seven calls at the Port of Tyne in Newcastle in July, September and October.

Fred. Olsen's five cruises from Rosyth next year will be on Black Watch's sister ship, the 880-passenger Boudicca. Destinations will include a seven-night Land of the Vikings cruise to Norway on June 1,  2015, and an intriguing 16-night Poison, Murder and Mystery Cruise on July 10, which will be linking the 'Poison Gardens' in Alnwick Castle, Northumberland and Guimar, Tenerife

Fred. Olsen will also be offering two sailings from Greenock (Glasgow) in September 2014, to the Norwegian fjords and 'Portugal & the Azores'.
