MSC Cruises partnership with Italian childcare product manufacturer Chicco

MSC Cruises has  announced a brand partnership with Italian childcare product manufacturer Chicco.

The deal will see MSC Cruises make a range of Chicco’s market-leading products – such as strollers, bottle warmers and baby backpacks – available to families during their voyages.

In addition, the partners are collaborating on the development of Chicco-branded purpose-built children areas on six ships* of the expanding MSC Cruises fleet – two of MSC Cruises’ Lirica-class ships soon to undergo the ‘Renaissance’ programme of lengthening and refurbishment, plus the four new-build vessels being constructed by STX France and Fincantieri for delivery between 2017 and 2019.

Families with youngsters will also receive a ‘Baby globetrotter’ guide – a printed pack full of information about onboard services and mini-club activities, game ideas, children’s menus and handy tips for family excursions specific to their ship’s itinerary.

Furthermore, the Chicco Observatory, a developmental research lab focusing on the under threes, will provide special training to MSC staff who will manage onboard childcare and give advice to families, in order to enjoy a relaxed and entertaining family cruise.
