For the first time,
MSC Cruises will offer fly-cruise itineraries on its two ships in the Caribbean,
MSC Divina and MSC Orchestra, beginning in Miami and Barbados
respectively.
MSC Divina will
return to the Caribbean in November 2015 after a summer in the Mediterranean.
First up is a one-off 10-night sailing taking in both Colombia and
Costa Rica in Central America. MSC Divina will then settle in to its familiar
pattern of two alternating seven-night round-trips from Florida.
At the end of the
season in April 2016 the ship will also offer an exclusive 14-night trip which
includes two days and two nights in Bermuda.
Meanwhile, MSC
Orchestra will operate a longer 14-night Eastern Caribbean option embarking from
Barbados. The company has taken a committed allocation of seats aboard British
Airways’ regular service to the island to give guests the option of a simple
fortnight’s package holiday. While MSC Cruises has operated the Eastern
Caribbean itinerary before, the winter 2014/15 has been altered to include a
stop in Barbados specifically so Brits can join the ship.
