Martin Bell joins Voyages to Antiquity's Amman to Athens voyage

Martin Bell, the former British war correspondent and independent MP, and currently a UN ambassador, will be the guest speaker  on Voyages to Antiquity's spring cruise from Amman to Athens, visiting the ancient city of Petra. The tour of Jordan also includes Roman Jerash and Amman, the nation's capital.
After boarding Aegean Odyssey at Aqaba, it is on to Cyprus, the coast of Turkey – including the  sites of Ephesus and Aphrodisias – and the island of Rhodes, famous for its Crusader stronghold. Next is the island of Delos, one of the most sacred sites of the ancient Hellenistic world and legendary birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Before reaching the final destination of Athens for a two-night hotel stay, the ship calls at the beautiful island of Santorini and a chance to explore the ancient Minoan site of Akrotiri.
Departs 5 April 2015. Fares from £2,695 pp.
