Regal start to Princess Cruises 50th anniversary celebrations

Commemorative food, drink and entertainment will be offered on Princess Cruises ships to celebrate its 50^th anniversary throughout 2015, which marks five decades since the line’s first sailing.

The 50^th anniversary will begin with the naming ceremony of Princess Cruises’ newest ship, Regal Princess, on 5 November in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, by members of the original Love Boat cast. The on-board celebrations will launch on Regal Princess at this time and roll out to the rest of the fleet in early 2015.
