More Boutique Adventures From Crystal

Crystal Cruises is expanding its exclusive collection of intimate “Boutique Adventures” during summer Northern Europe cruises with two new experiences in Belfast and Berlin. The shoreside outings – none of which are available on any other cruise lines – offer intimate access to Northern Ireland’s political leadership and Germany’s Soho House, along with visits to film locations around the city. 

The excursions are limited to 15 guests max and will take place during five of Crystal Serenity's cruises between June and August:

• Belfast: Go behind the closed doors of Stormont, the seat of Northern Ireland’s governing Legislative Assembly and symbol of hard-won peace solidified by 1998s Good Friday Agreement. A friendly three-course lunch with an Assembly member follows at a 200-year-old Georgian manor and working farm.
• Berlin: From the port city of Warnemünde, travel to Berlin to be led by a local film expert through the city’s most famous movie locations, from films such as The Bourne Supremacy, Inglourious Basterds and Run, Lola, Run. A champagne “wrap party” and private screening of Billy Wilder’s One, Two Three will be held in the stylish Red Room inside members-only Soho House, formerly the home of the Soviet Politboro.

Launched in the Mediterranean this spring, Crystal’s new “Boutique Adventures” are crafted just for Crystal guests and provide opportunities for deeper cultural experiences when visiting key destinations.

The Belfast excursion is offered during the August 26 seven-night Dublin to Dover British Isles voyage. The excursion from Warnemünde to Berlin is offered on four, 10-night Baltic sailings between Copenhagen and Stockholm departing June 15 and 25 and July 20 and 30. Marina's Russian Debut

Two full days in St Petersburg are included on Oceania Cruises first-ever Baltic voyages on the line’s recently launched new ship, Marina, cruising to Scandinavia and Russia. Limited availability is offered on three 10-day “Baltic Treasures” cruises, with cruise-only rates from £1,219 per person, including $500/stateroom onboard credit, free flights, all meals, complimentary soft drinks and bottled water. Departures are on July 22, August 1 & 11.

The cruise offers the opportunity to take part in Oceania's Culinary Discovery Tours to shore-side markets. The Farm-to-Table excursion visits two family-run farms, one that grows root vegetables, the other raising free-range cattle. After a three-course lunch in Visby, guests meet in the ship’s Bon Appetit Culinary Centre (the only hands-on cookery school at sea) for a “Joy of Grilling” class.

Latvian delicacies are showcased in Riga, where a local chef leads a tour of the Central Market. Back aboard ship, a “Romantic Riga” class completes the immersive experience. Norwegian Cruise Line is launching its new “Norwegians set SALE in Europe” promotion where customers can save up to £400 per stateroom on European and Atlantic crossings. The sale launches today (Dec 7) and is valid on sailings of six nights or more, including in peak holiday periods. Customers can make savings on bookings made until February 29, 2012.

Guests will be able to enjoy savings from a choice of four ships as Norwegian’s largest ever European deployment arrives in 2012. Crystal Expands World Jewish Culture Exploration
