The UK media has gone overboard (ho, ho) it seems for Oasis of the Seas, Royal Caribbean's new record-breaker which is due to set sail with passengers for the first time in just a month.The "world's largest cruise ship" is currently en route across the Atlantic to Fort Lauderdale and several weeks of hoopla around her arrival before her maiden voyage, with Port Everglades officially dedicating their new Oasis-specific terminal today.
But the newspapers, radio and TV have already decided this is one of the most news-worthy ship launches in modern history, with a positive avalanche of advance material, stories and reports being generated.
