With that in mind, why not have a look at Regent Seven Seas and their 11-night Beijing to Hong Kong voyage departing on October 4th on the lovely Seven Seas Navigator.
Starting at Beijing, excursions showcase The Forbidden City, the best preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. The Cruise also calls at Dalian, Shanghai (three nights in this most amazing of cities), Okinawa, Taipei (with the world's tallest building) and finishes at Hong Kong.

There is much extra value with Regent Seven Seas these days (free flights, shore excurions, etc), that this is really worth considering. China is a great cruise destination and it might be hard to find better value this year (or next, come to that!).
