Royal Princess celebrates first year anniversary

Royal Princess, the 3,560-guest ship launched last year by HRH, The Duchess of Cambridge, is today marking its first year of sailing.

During the past 12 months, Royal Princess, part of the Princess Cruises fleet, has travelled 120,000 miles and carried 150,000 guests. The ship has set sail on 44 cruises, visiting 39 ports in 20 countries including the Bahamas, USA and Italy. Royal Princess is currently travelling across Scandinavia and Russia.

The ship will shortly become a star of the small screen, as several crew members were filmed for a behind-the-scenes ITV documentary. The four-part series, entitled ‘The Cruise Ship’, will air over the summer.
