The Welsh port of Milford Haven welcomes MS Astor this Wednesday (3 September) when she calls into the Waterway as part
of her short voyage around the UK. The ship is operated by Cruise & Maritime Voyages and will be sailing to Australia in early November, but spends the summer under charter to a German tour operator.
On Friday, CMV's Discovery sails into the Haven as part of a short itinerary from Liverpool, taking in sites around southern Ireland, the Scilly Isles and Wales. Approximately 400 passengers will be on board and the vessel will be in port from 0830 until 2000 hrs. This is likely to be the ship's last visit to the port as it will leave the UK at the end of this month and is likely to be retired this winter.
Along with cruise vessel MS Delphin, that made her debut appearance in Pembroke Dock last Saturday, Pembrokeshire will have received three cruise visits in less than a week.
