Continuing
its winning streak from last year, Viking Cruises have been
awarded River
Cruise Line of the Year and the hotly-contested overall Best Cruise Line of
the Year title at the 2014 Food & Travel Magazine Reader Awards.
The
ceremony, held at the Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park, brought together respected
leaders in both the food and travel industries to celebrate the very best food at home and abroad.
Celebrity Cruises took Best Ocean Cruise Line and Hebridean Cruises were awarded best Adventure Cruise Line.
Wendy Atkin-Smith, managing director of Viking River Cruises UK commented: “To have been awarded such a high accolade by the readers of Food and Travel Magazine for a third year running is a fantastic achievement. Our highly-trained onboard chefs focus on quality food and regional specialities, as well as preparing fresh meals to order to ensure we always provide excellent cuisine for our guests.
